Selecting a wedding style can take some time and planning. Don't wait until the last minute to decide how you will wear your hair. Some brides schedul a trial run with their hair stylists several weeks or even months before the big day. In a trial run, you can see if the hair style you want is going to complement your style and your wedding dress. This is the time to bring your headpiece or veil and plan exactly how you will do your hair on the big day.

This hair style starts with applying a styling cream to damp hair. Blow dry the hair using a large round brush. Direct all layers down and under.

Once the hair is completely dry, add all over curls using either a curling iron or hot rullers. Allow the hair to completely cool before shaping the curls.

Next, pull the hair back and twist into a chignon, pinning pieces in place. Attach a clip in hair extension piece that matches your hair color closely. The clip in attaches directly to the chignon you have already created.

For extra height in the crown area, take small sections of hair and gently back comb them before pulling the hair back.

Another great idea for this style is to pull out some wispy strands around the face and pin curl them to add a romantic look to the style.
